Nocino is much more than a nut liqueur: it is a true hymn to our tradition, which is respected every year.
Tradition dictates that on the night between June 23 and 24, the feast day of St. John, walnuts are harvested while still green, before they are covered by the morning dew. Once harvested, they are steeped in alcohol for a month, after which a syrup of water and sugar is added.
With its strong and aromatic taste, Cinque Terre Distillery’s Nocino is an excellent digestive.
